We love cable rail. We just do. The steel frame (powder-coated silver here) plays well with pretty much any design aesthetic, and the cable allows other elements to shine. Like the stunning stone wall and fabulous horizontal windows in this Ironwood Homes new construction project.
We’re also digging the exposed-stringer look. Deconstructing and highlighting the bones of a staircase can be a beautiful thing. The builder-provided treads are in parallam, a super-strong engineered wood product made from clipped veneer strands laid in parallel alignment and bonded with adhesive. And it’s pretty.
Thanks to Ironwood Homes for pulling us in on this fun project.
